Parco Archeologico di Paestum
The Archaeological Park of Paestum is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world due to the presence of the magnificent Doric temples built by the Greeks between the 6th and the 5th century BC. Together with the temples of Agrigento and Athens, they are the most well-preserved Greek temples. Situated in the two sanctuary areas of Paestum, the temples are dedicated to Hera, the Queen of Olympus, and Athena, the goddess of wisdom and the arts.
