Parco Archeologico – Ambientale del Pausilypon
Situated on the hill of Posillipo, the Pausilypon Archaeological and Environmental park is an archaeological area that was opened in Naples in 2009. Visitors can enter the park through the Grotta di Seiano, a long tunnel dating back to Roman times. The park complex includes numerous archaeological ruins and sites of natural interest, such as the Gaiola marine reserve, Villa Imperiale of Pausilypon (a Roman villa), the Theatre and the Odeon, and Palazzo degli Spiriti.
