Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte
Situated in a historic Bourbon palace and set in extensive parkland and woodland , the National museum of Capodimonte contains ancient, contemporary and Neapolitan art. The Farnese and Neapolitan collections feature works by great Italian and Neapolitan painters such as Titian, Raphael, Caravaggio, Bruegel the Elder and Jusepe de Ribera. A section devoted to contemporary art completes the museum itinerary. It features masterpieces by world famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Alberto Burri, Joseph Kosuth and Michelangelo Pistoletto.
