Museo Duca di Martina
The Duca di Martina ceramic museum (Museo nazionale della ceramica Duca di Martina) is situated in Villa Floridiana in Naples. The museum is devoted to the decorative arts with over 6000 works dating from the 12th to the 19th century from all over the world. The museum focuses in particular on oriental art with over 1200 exhibits including Chinese porcelain from the Ming dynasty and Japanese Imari porcelain and Kaiemon ware. The heart of the collection consists of ceramics of which the duke was a keen collector.
