MuSa – Museo Universitario delle Scienze e delle Arti

MuSa is a university information and service centre of the Second University of Naples (SUN) that is involved in gathering, preserving and enhancing artistic, scientific and natural history collections. There are two sections: an Anatomy section that contains seventeenth century pieces from city hospitals, anatomical waxworks, skeletal exhibits, optical microscopes and the first example of a micromanipulator, as well as texts written between the 15th and the 19th century, and a Pharmacology section which contains medicinal herbs and plants in old display cases as evidence of the history of medicines.
