Auditorium “Oscar Niemeyer”
The Ravello Auditorium is a work of sublime beauty. It was designed by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer who wanted to give the “City of Music” a design that would become a piece of history. It blends in easily with the coastal landscape thanks to its sinuous wave-like profile. There is an oblong plaza in front of the building that leads into an indoor room that can seat about 400 people while the orchestra pit and the Foyer jut out into the void. The whole room is sealed with windows that offer a view of the sea and the breathtaking panorama.
