Anfiteatro Flavio

$0 $0 per person
The construction of the Flavian amphitheatre in Pozzuoli has been attributed to the same architects that built the Colosseum. The amphitheatre dates to the 1st century AD. With a seating capacity of 40,000, it is one of the largest amphitheatres in Italy, together with the amphitheatre of Capua and the Colosseum.
Guided tours available: booking required.

Note: To visit the sites included in the Phlegraean Circuit with an Artecard (Archaeological Museum of the Phlegraean Fields, Cuma Archaeological Park, Baiae Thermal Baths Archaeological Park, Flavian Amphitheater), it is mandatory to book a free Artecard ticket via the Musei Italiani app. This measure is due to the mandatory visitor limit of a maximum of 50 people every 30 minutes. In particular, for the Pozzuoli Amphitheater, where the visitor flow is higher, the restriction is even stricter, allowing only 25 people every 30 minutes. We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your visit.
