Parco Archeologico di Baia

Parco Archeologico di Baia

$0 $0 per person
The Aragonese castle of Baia houses the Archaeological Museum of the Phlegraean Fields (Museo Archeologico dei Campi Flegrei). The numerous finds in the museum come from various archaeological sites in the Phlegraean area, including the Sacellum of the Augustales at Miseno and the Nympheum of Punta Epitaffio at Baia, which now lies 7 metres below sea level due to the effects of bradyseism. A large section is devoted to the plaster casts which reflect the numerous sculptors’ workshops that were active in the Phlegraean area during the Roman period.

Note: To visit the sites included in the Phlegraean Circuit with an Artecard (Museo Archeologico dei Campi Flegrei, Parco Archeologico di Cuma, Parco Archeologico delle Terme di Baia, Anfiteatro Flavio), it is mandatory to book a free Artecard ticket via the Musei Italiani app. This measure is due to the mandatory visitor limit of a maximum of 50 people every 30 minutes. In particular, for the Pozzuoli Amphitheater, where the visitor flow is higher, the restriction is even stricter, allowing only 25 people every 30 minutes. We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your visit.
