Via Duomo – the Museums route

“Via Duomo – the Museums Route” is the project of the Campania Region that connects the eight museums in Via Duomo, in Naples. Along its 1200 meters, via Duomo is one of the highest-density streets of museums in the world, museums ranging from archaeology to sacred art, baroque and contemporary art.

An artistic path along which you will find the Filangieri Museum, the Church of San Severo al Pendino, the Pio Monte della Misericordia, the Madre – Museo d’arte Contemporanea Donnaregina, the Cartastorie | Museo dell’Archivio storico del Banco di Napoli, il Complesso monumentale Donnaregina- Museo Diocesano, the Complesso monumentale dei Girolamini and the Museo del Tesoro di San Gennaro.

On November 9th 2018, on the occasion of the celebrations of the 130 years of via Duomo, the eight museums welcomed the visitors until midnight for free guided tours during “The night of the museums in Via Duomo”. The event has been curated by Scabec, Società Campana Beni Culturali.
