Scavi di Boscoreale ed Antiquarium
Situated to the north of Pompeii and on the slopes of Vesuvius, the excavations at Boscoreale have brought to light the country villas which were part of an outlying district of Pompeii where agricultural and pastoral activities were carried out. The Antiquarium lies in the archaeological park: the building, donated by the municipal authorities, contains exhibits and other material that illustrate the traditions and customs of the area around Vesuvius thanks to the finds unearthed during the excavations.
